Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed and never stored in plain text).

Creator information: Payout details, storefront settings, business information you provide.

Transaction data: Purchase records, amounts, timestamps, and buyer information for each sale.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session data, and IP addresses (hashed for privacy).

Uploaded content: Files, images, and other content you upload to sell on the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Glossy platform
• To process transactions and deliver products to buyers
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, receipts, etc.)
• To send product updates and occasional marketing (you can opt out)
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Stripe: Payment information is processed by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy
• Cloudflare: File storage is handled via Cloudflare R2
• Service providers: Hosting, email, and analytics providers acting as data processors
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Between creators and buyers: When a purchase is made, the creator receives the buyer's name and email to deliver the product and provide support. Buyers do not receive creator personal information beyond their storefront name.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Export your data
• Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and encrypted storage for sensitive credentials. No security system is perfect, but we take your data security seriously.

8. Children's Privacy

Glossy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
